In the DKIM Reputation Project we collect successfully verified spam mails and add their senders to a reputation database that can be used in spam mail filtering. Give a bad score to DKIM identified spammers and give a slightly good score to other, good DKIM senders, this is roughly said the intention of the DKIM Reputation Project.
The project was setup in February 2008 and is mainly fed by spam mails that are collected in the NiX Spam project. Currently the results are exported to Karmasphere but may be provided to any other institution that offers free or commercial anti-spam services. In the long term we believe our project could help to establish an extra class of premium authenticated email in which receivers can trust senders more and senders profit by a higher probability of successful mail delivery. |
